Our Community
Imagine a community full of friends; a family. A place where you are accepted, loved and encouraged. A place of no judgement, no preconceived ideas of who you are, where you came from or where you are going. A place for worship, a place for good...for compassion, understanding and of service. No matter your color, race, or religion...yes religion...makes no difference. Your life choices...good or bad...have no weight or bearing in the way you are treated here. A place where together we are stronger.
“...Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...”
This is what New Beginnings is.
We all want freedom; though for each that has it’s own meaning. Through worship, prayer and acts of service, we can free each other. We can allow ourselves to breathe again, or maybe even take our first breath. Allow our hearts to heal and our weary souls to rest.
New Beginnings Outreach Center & Worship Services was specifically and uniquely founded to create a community where ALL are loved, encouraged and accepted. Our outreach focuses on reaching the homeless and those re-entering society. There are absolutely no background restrictions in our outreach and worship services. If you are currently on probation or parole we will work closely with Supervisor to ensure compliance.
Worship Services are held every Sunday at 11:30am. Join us for coffee & snacks at 11:00am
***Programs & Services are for adults only***
The Voyage
A voyage is defined as a course of travel or passage, an especially long journey to a distant place. And our vision extends far beyond a place of worship.
In the future we hope to engage in community partnerships and offer programs that are meaningful, that fill a void to the Center community as well as the community at large. Day centers, life skills classes, peer support and mentoring programs, prison ministry and re-entry assistance and program, senior programs and so much more. We hope to create a community that everyone wants to join in and be a part of.
Join us on this voyage, travel together with us to distant shore, on an uncharted course.
